Life is like this.......
Just when we get all the answers of life
Life changes the question!

But face with a smile and your search will become easier!!!
Sometimes we build walls around our heart,
not just to be safe from getting hurt,
but to find out who cares enough
to break them down and enter in.

To be happy,
don't do whatever you like,
instead like whatever you do.

Happiness comes not from having much to live on,
but from having much to live for.

Never blame a day in your life....
Good day gives "Happiness"
Bad day gives "Experience"
Both are essential in life.
Enjoy Today and Everyday.
Live with no excuses and love with no regrets.
When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have thousand reasons to smile.
Some times the smallest of gestures go right to ur heart!
A smile from a stranger when u r lost in a crowd,
An old friend calling u from a distant land just to say ' I miss u',
The touch of ur mother's hand on ur brow when u r unable to sleep,
A msg from a friend asking 'What's wrong with u?' , when u thought no one could notice,
And a hand on ur shoulder when it feels that the world is against u,
An unexpected hug,
Some times it is the tiniest of things that bring a smile in hard times!!!!!!!!

Little Candle

Once upon a time a little candle stood in a room filled with other candles, most of them much larger and much more beautiful than she was. Some were ornate and some were rather simple, like herself. Some were white, some were blue, some were pink, some were green. She had no idea why she was there, and the other candles made her feel rather small and insignificant.

When the sun went down and the room began to get dark, she noticed a large man walking toward her with a ball of fire on a stick. She suddenly realized that the man was going to set her on fire. No, no!! she cried, Aaaaagghhh! Don't burn me, please! But she knew that she could not be heard and prepared for the pain that
would surely follow.

To her surprise, the room filled with light. She wondered where it came from since the man had extinguished his fire stick. To her delight, she realized that the light came from herself.

Then the man struck another fire stick and, one by one, lit the other candles in the room. Each one gave out the same light that she did.

During the next few hours, she noticed that, slowly, her wax began to flow. She became aware that she would soon die. With this realization came a sense of why she had been created. Perhaps my purpose on earth is to give out light until I die, she mused. And that's exactly what she did.

Lord created you and I to produce light in a dark world. Like that little candle, we all can produce the same amount of light, no matter how small we are or what color we might be. But we can't produce light until we receive it from an outside source. That source is Lord, the light of the world.

In life, god does not give you the people you want, instead he gives you the people you need....to teach you, to hurt you, to love you and to make you exactly the way you should be.

It doesn't matter what you do for a living.

I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are.

I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for dreams, for the adventure of being alive. It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon.

I want to know if you have touched the centre of your own sorrow,
if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shrivelled and closed from fear of further pain!

I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own,
without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy,
mine or your own;
if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful,
be realistic,
remember the limitations of being a human. It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true.

I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself;
if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see beauty even when it's not pretty every day.
And if you can source your life from its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure,
yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon,
'Yes!' It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.

I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children. It doesn't interest me who you know, or how you came to be here.

I want to know if you will stand in the centre of the fire with me and not shrink back. It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.

I want to know what sustains you from the inside, when all else falls away. I want to know if you can be alone with yourself;
and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

Life's Little Instruction Book

Have a firm handshake.
Look people in the eye.
Sing in the shower.
Own a great stereo system.
If in a fight, hit first and hit hard.
Keep secrets.
Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen everyday.
Always accept an outstretched hand.
Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference.
Whistle.
Avoid sarcastic remarks.
Choose your life's mate carefully. From this one decision will come 90 per cent of all your happiness or misery.
Make it a habit to do nice things for people who will never find out.
Lend only those books you never care to see again.
Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all that they have.
When playing games with Children, let them win.
Give people a second chance, but not a third.
Be romantic.
Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.
Loosen up. Relax. Except for rare life-and-death matters, nothing is as important as it first seems.
Don't allow the phone to interrupt important moments. It's there for your convenience, not the caller's.
Be a good loser.
Be a good winner.
Think twice before burdening a friend with a secret.
When someone hugs you, let them be the first to let go.
Be modest. A lot was accomplished before you were born.
Keep it simple.
Beware of the person who has nothing to lose.
Don't burn bridges. You'll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river.
Live your life so that your epitaph could read, No Regrets
Be bold and courageous. When you look back on life, you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the one's you did.
Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.
Remember no one makes it alone. Have a grateful heart and be quick to acknowledge those who helped you

Why people come into our lives?

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real . But only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

To laugh often love much;

To win the respect of intelligent people

And the affection of children;

To earn the approbation of honest critics

And endure the betrayal of false friends;

To appreciate beauty;

To find the best in others;

To give one’s self;

To leave the world a little better,

Whether by a healthy child,

A garden patch,

Or a redeemed social condition;

To have played and laughed with enthusiasm

And sung with exultation;

To know even one life has breathed easier

Because you have lived…

This is to have succeeded

–Ralph Waldo Emerson

You are what your deep driving desire is,

As your desire is, so is your will.

As your will is, so is your deed.

As your deed is, so is your destiny.

Response/Ability

The game we play

Is pretend

And pretend

We’re not

Pretending.

We choose to

Forget

Who we are

And then forget

That we’ve

Forgotten.

Who are we really?

The center

That watches

And runs the show

That can choose

Which way

It will go.

The I am

Consciousness

That powerful

Loving perfect

Reflection

Of the cosmos

But in our attempt

We cope with

Early situations

We chose or were

Hypnotized into

A passive position

To avoid

Punishment

Or the loss of love

We chose to deny

Our

Responsibility

Pretending that

Things just

Happened

Or that we were

Being controlled

Taken over.

We put ourselves

Down

And have become

Used to this

Masochistic

Posture

This weakness

This indecisiveness

But we are

In reality

Free

A center

Of cosmic energy

Your will

Is your power

Don’t pretend

You don’t have it

Or you won’t.

To be your best yourself

The good you find in others, is in you too.
The faults you find in others,
are your faults as well.
After all, to recognize something
you must know it.

The possibilities you see in others
are possible for you as well.
The beauty you see around you, is your beauty
The world around you is a reflection,
a mirror showing you the person you are.

To change your world you must change yourself.
To blame and complain will
only make matters worse.
Whatever you care about
is your responsibility.

What you see in others, shows you your self.
See the best in others, and you will be your best.
Give to others, and you give to yourself.

Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful.
Admire creativity, and you will be creative.
Love,and you will be loved.

Seek to understand, and
you will be understood.
Listen, and your voice will be heard.

Teach, and you will be learn.
show your face on mirror
and you'll be happy with the face
looking back at you.

So Be Your Best Self

Sand and Stone

A story tells that two friends were walking through
the desert. During some point of the journey, they
had an argument, and one friend slapped the other
one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt,
but without saying anything, he wrote in the sand:

Today my best friend slapped me in the face.

They kept on walking, until they found an oasis,
where they decided to take a bath. The one who had
been slapped got stuck in the mire and started
drowning, but his friend saved him. After he
recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:

Today my best friend saved my life.

The friend, who had slapped and saved his best
friend, asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in
the sand, and now, you write on a stone, why?"

The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us,
we should write it down in sand, where the winds of
forgiveness can erase it away, but when someone
does som! ething good for us, we must engrave it in
stone where no wind can ever erase it.

Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve
your blessings in stone.

Judge Me By The Footprints I Leave Behind...

We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who cause inconvenience to us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are. Every night, before we tuck ourselves in for the night, we must say a little prayer so that God will give us the strength we need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!!! There's a miracle called Friendship that dwells in the heart. You don't know how it happens or when it gets started. But you know the special lift it always brings. And you realize that Friendship Is God's most precious gift! Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you too. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their hearts to us. The value of Friendship is as important as Humanity. We live through Humanity by standing tall as good friends.

A Dream In The Night

Lost in confusion and total self bliss
I've found the relation between dream and wish
A dream is a fantasy lived only while asleep
But a wish has a compass vast, far and deep.
A dream can bring true the wish never thought
As your mind wanders aimlessly and feelings are sought.
But a wish is a simple, momentous undertaking
A grasping of things while still in the making.
Now my understanding of wish and of dreams
Have broadened my scope - or so it would seem
But still I'm confused and nothing is clear
Because you are a wish, yet a dream so dear.
With the breath of each day, I wish for your sight
Visions of loveliness turned to dreams in the night
You've become such a fantasy with realistic tones
I long for your love and time spent alone
Sadly enough my dreams cause confusion
For all their purpose are meager illusion
And though the dawn of each day may be cheerful to sight
I fear the darkness and my continuing fight.
For now its a war - a battle within
A dreadful nightmare which rationality must win
What should I do? Where shall I begin?
Should I ask for your love or remain a dear friend?
In my dreams you're my lover and my world is complete
But in life your a martyr to hope so elite
I've grown to know you and care with a passion
But fear lies within mutual attraction.
If I am to approach you with some indication
Would I strengthen our friendship or cause detonation?
This is the confusion, the struggle, the fight,
Until I am sure, you'll remain a dream in the night.

Life

Life isn't about keeping scores.
It's not about how many people call you
and it isn't about who you've dated, are dating or haven't dated at all.
It isn't about who who've kissed,
what sport you play, or which guy/ girl like you.

It's not about your shoes or your hair or your skin.
or you live or go to school.
In fact it's not about grades, money, clothes or institutions
that accepted you or not.

Life isn't about if you have lots of friends,
or if you are alone & it's not about how accepted
or unaccepted you are.

LIFE JUST ISN'T ABOUT THAT!!!

But life is about who you love & who you hurt.
It's about how you feel about yourself.
It's about trust, happiness and compassion.
It's about sticking up for your friends
& replacing inner hate with love.

Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance
& building confidence.
It's about what you say & what you mean.
It's about seeing people for who they are
& not what they have.

Life is about doing everything
that your family counts on you to do.
Life is about being a friend
who could be there always.

Most of all, it's about choosing
to use your life to touch
someone else's.. in a way that could
have been achieved otherwise.

THE CHOICES ARE WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT!!!

What lies before us and what lies behind us

Are small matters compared to

What lies within us.

And when we bring what is within

Out into the world,

Miracles happen

Please Listen

When I ask you to listen to me

And you start giving me advice,

You have not done what I asked.

When I ask you to listen to me

And you begin to tell me why

I shouldn’t feel that way,

You are trampling on my feelings.

When I ask you to listen to me

And you feel you have to do something

To solve my problem,

You have failed me,

Strange as that may seem.

Listen! All I ask is that you listen.

Don’t talk or do- just hear me.

Advice is cheap; 20 cents will get

You both dear Abby and Billy Graham

In the same newspaper.

And I can do for myself; I am not helpless.

Maybe discouraged and faltering,

But not helpless.

When you do something for me that I can

And need to do for myself,

You contribute to my fear and

Inadequacy.

But when you accept as a simple fact

That I feel what I feel,

No matter how irrational,

Then I can stop trying to convince

You and get about this business

Of understanding what’s behind

This irrational feeling.

And when that’s clear, the answers are

Obvious and I don’t need advice.

Irrational feeling make sense when

We understand what’s behind them.

Perhaps that’s why prayer works, sometimes

For some people- because god is mute,

And he doesn’t give advice or try

To fix things.

God just listens and lets you work

It out for yourself.

So please listen, and just hear me.

And if you want to talk, wait a minute

For your turn- and I will listen to you.

The Oyester

There once was an oyster

Whose story I tell,

Who found that some sand

Had got into his shell.

It was only a grain,

But it gave him great pain.

For oysters have feelings

Although they’re so plain.

Now, did he berate

The harsh workings of fate

That had brought him

To such a deplorable state?

Did he curse at the government,

Cry for election,

And claim that the sea should

Have given him protection?

No, he said to himself

As he lay on a shell,

Since I cannot remove it,

Now the years have rolled around,

As the years always do,

And he came to his ultimate

Destiny-strew

And the small grain of sand

That had bothered him so

Was a beautiful pearl

All richly aglow.

Now the tale has a moral;

For isn’t it grand

What an oyster can do

With a morsel of sand?

What couldn’t we do

If we’d only begin

With some of the things

That gets under our skin.

The trouble with so many of us is that we underestimate the power of simplicity. We have a tendency it seems to over complicate our lives and forget what's important and what's not. We tend to mistake movement for achievement. We tend to focus on activities instead of results. And as the pace of life continues to race along in the outside world, we forget that we have the power to control our lives regardless of what's going on outside. -Robert Stubergt

NAME

You should not be known by your name, your name should be known by you. -HANA
I cannot change the way I am,
I never really try,
God made me different and unique,
I never ask him why.

If I appear peculiar,
There's nothing I can do,
You must accept me as I am,
As I've accepted you.

God made a casting of each life,
Then threw the old away,
Each child is different from the rest,
Unlike as night from day.

So often we will criticize,
The things that others do,
But, do you know, they do not think,
The same as me and you.

So God in all his wisdom,
Who knows us all by name,
He didn't want us to be bored,
That's why we're not the same

LOVE

Love is not a game.
You cant win someone by playing tricks.

I don't believe in giving my life to prove my love for someone.

Love is to be together and to care for each other.
Love is respecting other person's thoughts..even though you disagree with them.

Love is when you come up with silly and cute excuses to spend few moments with that special one...

The person who helps you grow in all aspects of life is the one best for you...

Someone who can understand you the best and respects your thoughts and your dreams is the right companion.
